I wondered everyone's opinion on this debate today Do you think it should be Opt in or Opt out?
People with ME cannot give blood but if you have Fibromyalgia you currently can. In my opinion, this blurs lines between those misdiagnosed with Fibromyalgia that actually have ME (vice versa) or actually might have both conditions and be unaware due to the lack of diagnostic test that can be shown to in a quantitative manner as a reliable medical test.
As a separate question and discussion Does anyone know if people with ME can therefore sign up to donate organs if cannot give blood?
