Hi there, I'm a bit of a mess with many health issues. My main ones are Fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety and osteoporosis. The CFS and pain mean I can do very little, which I find hard to accept and am constantly overdoing it just by doing a short 5 minutes potting in the garden for example. So I am frustrated and in pain which then feeds into the anxiety and depression. My husband works full time and has to do all the household chores including cooking which I feel guilty about. If anyone is interested I went through the system of transfer from DLA to PIP and into a tribunal which I won.It took 16 months and I often felt like giving up but was determined to fight on.I will tell you more if anyone wants.

Hi paddy60, I can relate to your story and frustration. I do the same,  always overdo it, it's so frustrating and also makes me depressed and anxious.  I worry about what people think of me.  Seeing me out and about some days and probably thinking I'm at it.  They don't see other 99% of what fibromyalgia does to a person.  It cost me my job, then my marriage.  I do still have my 2 beautiful kids in my life which I am grateful for.  I also changed over to pip although I have been on Dla since 2011 after a long hard fight with the system.  If you need advice I am also here for you all.  Alan x

Like you I had been on DLA for many years but I was left with only the lower rate of mobility.I can't be a proper Granny which has driven a wedge between my daughter and I.They live 8 miles away but I haven't been able to get to see them this year.I just have to accept that my husband takes them out or goes swimming with them At the moment I am struggling with the garden. It is laid to gravel at the back so I can just have pots. However I couldn't get out there for the past 2 years as a hop and a bramble had taken over .I had it cleared but had to replace all the tools pots and concrete figures as they skipped everything! I limit myself to 3 lots of 10 minutes a day potting up plants but got carried away on Thursday just trying to beat the bad weather. Now I'm stuck in my chair trying hard not to get angry. Thanks for the reply I really appreciate contact with fellow sufferers.Pauline
