Lately I've noticed frequent palpitations, more than usual. Diagnosed with PVC's and SVT. Just concerned about why so frequently. EKG normal as of 2/27/25.

Frequent Palpitations

I wouldn't worry too much about the pvcs. Although worrying/stress seems to make them worse! I have occasional pvcs and pacs, but at a low percent of total heartbeats, so my doctor is not too concerned. I think it's like 20% or more before they get concerned. Drink lots of water, some people take magnesium to help. A 7 day or 30 day monitor would give a better picture of your condition.Wishing you well!
These things tend to worsen over time but are, I am assured, “benign” and of no consequence except the anxiety they generate. That said, I would ask your doctor for advice as only they know your medical history.

Hello,
Thank you for your post. It may be helpful to start keeping a diary of each time the palpitations occur to identify any triggers and to enable you to keep track of them.
I would also advise booking an appointment with your doctor to discuss any concerns as they have full access to your medical records and will be able to advise you personally. If you keep a diary, you can also relay this information to them.
We also have a resource: Supraventricular Tachycardia patient information booklet which contains supportive information that I do hope you find helpful: api.heartrhythmalliance.org...
If you would like any support, advice or further information, please do reach out to our Patient Services Team via Patient Helpline or via email, please visit: heartrhythmalliance.org/aa/...
We are always here if you need us.
Kind regards,
