Third Times a Charm- Ablation!!

I am ten days out from my third ablation for Atrial Tachycardia. They had to go to the left atrium this time and after irritating my heart sufficiently by lack of sleep and caffeine. My heart misbehaved perfectly and they were finally able to map the spot!! They did a right pulmonary vein ablation and isolation. After dealing with post procedure ocular migraines, I have recovered and have been in NORMAL SINUS RHYTHM since the procedure!! This is the first time in two years that my heart has been normal!!! Am now able to walk without breathlessness. What a glorious thing!!

Good to hear thanks. We need to hear more positive posts on here because it helps so much mentally and can take away some fear! Wonderful that you are feeling so well again and that it was all worth it. Take care.

Wonderful news! Love your statement about lack of sleep and lots of caffeine to help trigger it! 😂 That’s been my problem too, during 3 ablations for afib, they had trouble triggering the extra tachycardia. So had a 4th EP study while unsedated. They found the spots, but couldn’t do an RF ablation without damaging nerves. Hoping, hoping, hoping that pulsed field ablation can fix it. So happy yours has been fixed. Enjoy that wonderful feeling!

Thanks! I know that for 20-30% of people, Atach can return, but I am so thankful and blessed to feel good finally. I will count myself blessed for whatever time I do have in NSR!!
