RSV Jab

Hi Just wondering as I have been informed I can have my Flu & rsv jabs. Was wondering if a rsv vaccine jab would in any way affect our afib? I m in Long-term persistent atrial fibrillation and last time I had a covid jab booster roughly 2 years ago it made me really ill. I was in perfect SR for a year after my 3rd cardiversion until booster and thet put back into afib.Worried the rsv jab could not so much put me back into afib as I am already in afib but make it worse. Thanks for ny replies

I had mine and brought it to the group's attention a few weeks ago. Zero effect. Not even sore arm.

Mine had no noticeable effect but the nurse told me it’s better not to have jabs on the same day.

I have had mine with no side effects at all and as Bob says, not even a sore arm or redness.

Every body is different. I know for sure if my body appears sensitive or the heart has already been aggravated I would need a good overriding reason to have further jabs.

I’ve never had a jab with less side effects. Didn’t feel the injection, no sore arm, no nothing !

Hi Dindy, im afraid there is only one way to know, and that choice is yours, no one else can tell you it will or wont .

Everyone's body chemistry is different. You may or may not experience any affects from these jabs, but... Seeing your past history you mentioned, do you really NEED to take these?

I'm one of those vax avers types. I have had zero vacccines since 1982 and I'm OK. No worries if a vax MAY cause issues with my body. Sure, I have had the flu and even Covid once, but I got over them just fine and now have better immunity.

I rarely get the flu or other issues. The only reason I feel I contracted Covid and the flu the year before is I am prone to Bronchitis like lung issues which of course is aggravated by smoking "the marijuana." When I do not smoke it for over a week my sinuses, lungs and such are terrific! So I am working toward limiting the smoking to "once in a blue moon."

My thinking on this is that my system is pretty darn healthy ( some of the best blood panels my cardiologist and GP both said ) I attribute to my herb, vitamin and food regimen.

Good fortune whichever way you go.
