I have dilated cardiomyopathy but also associated with it, AF and heart failure. I have just been started on Entresto as an alternative to Ramipiril (which I had been on stably for 6 months). Since starting on the Entresto I have had continual very unpleasant lip tingling and my lower face has felt (but doesn’t look) stiff and swollen.
I don’t think I can face remaining on Entresto if this is what I have to put up with all the time. What have other people’s experiences of it been? Anyone else have lip tingling etc and did it eventually go?

I have been on Entresto for the last 10 months with no side effects. What does your doctor think about your side effect in this case? I think you should discuss with your medics in case it’s something else causing your problem. Hope you get it resolved.
I have stopped Entresto , the cardiologist was so sure it was a miracle drug , well within a week I was so out of breath , by a fortnight so much pulmonary oedema I was reassured all would improve in 6 months, then he said I needed to increased the dose , my kidneys function bottomed out , I was all over itchy , bruising everywhere and a purple rash . I told him were to stuff the organs am back on a small increasing dose if candesartan and feel a lot better , but still at the mercy of worsening heart failure.
I have had all sorts of symptoms with entresto to begin with. It probably took 6 months on the lower dose and then around 1 year to adapt to the middle dose.
I don't recall tingling of the lips. I did get a weird lip twitching sensation.
Sides of entresto I used to get was brain fog real bad. Within an hour of taking it that lasted hours. Extreme fatigue. I'm sure it contributed to new chest pains.
Thanks for letting me know. Maybe I should have tried for longer but I came off Entresto after 4 days as the particular side effects weren’t ones I could put up with (I already have a lot of horrible side effects with Amiadarone). I’m back on Ramipiril which seems ok other than giving me persistent reflux.
