Hi all.
After spending a few months in the hospital I'm back home - at last! I wouldn't say I like the places but the staff are second to none.
I hope to be helping out on the forum again soon.
Enjoy your weekend.
Paul
PS it's not afib related to why I was there.

Oh dear Paul. I did wonder why we hadn't heard from you. I do hope you're feeling better now, whatever the problem might be.
Life can be very challenging at times as I'm finding out with my OH and his health problems but just have to keep going as best we can.
Best wishes
J

Welcome back Paul.
Hope you are better after such a long time in hospital. I was in hospital for 6 weeks as an 11 year old and it seemed like a lifetime.

Good to see yr continued involvement with this supportive site. Hope you are enjoying our brief summer & a well behaved heart!
Im @ day 11 - post ablation. Dr Podd was EP. Am feeling good walking up to couple of miles now. What joy to be able to walk uphill - even with couple of items of shopping.
I know i have to stay on Amiodarone till end of Oct & firmly believe that unsteady gait & poor dexterity are side effects of meds NOT procedure but it has worked & have been in NSR since CV on June 8th!
Have been blessed with help from neighbours & friends - couldnt have done it without them !
Happy ‘being busy’ times to you.
Love Janetxx

Hi
Oh dear Mr Bounce.
All the best .... months in hospital is abnormal. I would be bored unless I was sleeping and resting.
Speed up the recovery process with a good funny book. And music.
Mr Bounce recovery is on the horizon.

Hi
Gee ATM has more. than one meaning.
It may make the new dictionary in having two meanings including 'at the moment'!
Saved all that writing Bouncey.
But I find with friends whom I would call intelligent get lost reading my short words. That's frustrating when I neded to rewrite the text in jolly long words!

Reply (1)Report
Hi Joy. Atm means at the moment in this case. I know what you mean though these abbreviations can have many different meanings.
Cheers Paul
