I mainly use Healthspan for vitamins. Although use Ethical Nutrition for Magnesium Taurate.Their multivitamins sound a good fit for me as would save having to take vit D3 separately BUT I'm on apixaban and the daily dose contains 50 mg turmeric.
Rooting about on line I understand curcumin is a small percentage of this and the dose itself seems low compared with suggested doses which I wouldn't dream of taking whilst anticoagulated.
My feeling is to stick with the ones I'm taking, fillers and all ( if they have them!)as they seem to suit me.
Any thoughts welcome.

I’d continue if you think you benefit. I did some research on curcumin with my nutritionist some years ago now and her view was that you would need 8g of Tumeric to absorb enough curcumin to cause a problem with an anticoagulant. I’m not sure whether or not that is correct as that was some years ago and it wasn’t a trial, you wouldn’t be able to do that to calculate how much could harm. I use Tumeric, ginger and garlic regularly as foods and drink Tumeric tea everyday but I know people get spooked at the mere mention alongside anticoagulants.
Recent nutritional studies have shown that different people metabolise foods in very different ways so some may metabolise 80% of what they consume nutritionally whilst others may be as low as 40%. Certainly may explain why some people can eat as much as they like and remain slim whilst others put pounds on at the slightest swallow. Unfortunately I fall into the latter category 🤔
daily dose 2 caps gives 16 micrograms which is more than I take now as a single supplement. I put Vit D3 onto my listed meds on drugs.com and it told me taking VitD3 ( calciferol) with magnesium supplements can raise magnesium levels, with list of symptoms!! Damned if you do damned if you don't. I do!
That is a very small amount - just over 600iu. The only way to know how much vit D you need to take is to test your level. Unless you eat masses of oily fish and sunbathe actively ( hard with the weather so far this year!) then you might be deficient on that dose.
It is widely suggested it has anticoagulant properties. If you look at a main stream formulary like drugs.com you can type in your meds and other things meds or supplements to see what they say. It is annoying as its an anti inflammatory and inflammation isbeing cited as the bad guy in a lot of issues.
