I’ve had MRI without incident. Only direct complication I know about is special care and advance notice is required if you have a pacemaker. I think stress is likely to be your worst enemy so allow yourself plenty of time, tell the team if you are anxious.
Have you had an MRI previously?
Good luck and hope all is well for you.
I had one last year and it had no effect whatsoever on my heart rate. X
I've had a cardiac MRI (to look for potential damage from having Covid). What does that tell you!
Yes I had one last year, no effect upon my heart.
All seems good news Ann.
Hi see the safety note on this link
Hope this reassures you, best wishes
no problems with afib/tachycardia and heart as such. The only time medics have to take special precautions is with pacemakers
Don’t worry, try to relax and I’m sure you will be fine. Think of something happy. The last time I was wrapping Christmas presents in my mind snd another thinking of dream holidays
I had a MRI two years ago without any effect. Sending best wishes
