Best contact your arrhythmia nurse. Any chest pain should be investigated.

No not normal. Needs investigation as soon as possible. Ring your clinic as a matter of urgency or go to A&E.

Sounds like post procedural pericarditis. Very common and under diagnosed after ablation. Usual treatment is a course of the anti-inflammatory drug Colchicine. That's what I was given after my ablation and it helped a lot. I would think your EP would know what's going on once you report it, but cannot hurt to bring up post procedural pericarditis with them if they shake their head. In any event, I would report it right away.

Chest soreness is normal, chest PAIN is not post ablation. If you have any other associated symptoms such as shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, profuse sweating or feeling like you are going to pass out, it is TOTALLY appropriate to activate EMS for assistance. Hopefully it is just post surgery inflammation, but best to be pro-active .

I too had shortness of breath post ablation, around 2 week mark

Contacted my EP who saw me and put me on Colchicine for another three weeks, colchicine is used to treat gout but it is very effective to treat pericarditis, contact your EP’s office first thing, maybe send a message through the Mychart portal if that’s available to you.

It's odd to me that the pain had come up at this point. Also, the breathlessness should not be unattended. Do you think you've picked up an infection? Don't leave it. Are you able to check your SATS?

This is normal for me, I experienced the same side effects, especially the shortness of breath. Contact your physician, he can adjust the meds. As long as you're in sinus rhythm that's have the battle.
