7 weeks after AF ablation, and on a daily dose of flecainide and bisoprolol, yet I still get odd bursts of irregular beats (some fast, some weak - never longer than a couple of seconds).
Is this really still just my heart recovering from the scarring during ablation, or am I stuck with these ectopic salvos ( or, whatever they are)?
Aside from the irregular beats, I feel totally fine, and I don't think I've experienced AF, so it's not all bad.

Even people with no heart conditions get the type of beats you describe. They're quite normal, it's just that we people on here are more focussed on our hearts and can notice every odd beat.
I too sometimes stall when typing arrhythmia, but if you type it and then do a right hand mouse click over the word, if on a PC, it will show you the correct spelling which you just scroll to. Red underlining often appears under a misspelt word.
You're still early in the healing process and are bound to get bursts of irregular heartbeats. In fact, you're fortunate you're not having a-fib episodes as they're common as your heart heals.
Early days yet. I kept having trouble at intervals for four months, they've stopped since then but I'm not yet counting chickens. My review is in March, 9 months after the ablation.
