I wrote awhile ago that I was scheduled for a Wolf Mini-maze procedure at the DeBakey Houston Heart Center. I suffered through a year of blood thinners first. I am now 3 weeks out since my surgery. Dr Wolf did his magic on my heart and put in an LAA Atriclip so I am now free from blood thinners and any stroke risk in that most common area. The surgery was not bad...still healing so I have a way to go but I already feel better than before surgery. By the way, I'm 79 and had persistent AFib for decades with its exhausting symptoms. I look forward to complete healing over the next few months. WolfMinimaze.com will get you there.

It's good to hear that you are recuperating so well. Please let us know at later stages, say three and six months, how you are progressing.
Wishing you well.

Thanks so much for sharing JazzSinger. This procedure is something we’ve heard about from several people on this forum and it always seems to be a successful outcome. I believe several of these meet on a separate forum to share progress. All best for the future.
Great news, thanks for letting us know.
If you don’t mind me asking, did Medicare cover the mini maze procedure.?
wonderful news, hope you continue on this path of NSR, you are an inspiration at 79! 😍
