That's weird, I was thinking of posting as I am having Engevita every day, high in B vitamins inc B12. Wasn't taking it as a supplement just like the taste of the flakes and have them nearly every day in a sandwich instead of marmite as low salt or stirred into soup. Never thought it could be an issue with meds and I have had more energy and less runs of regular tachy since taking it (but thought it might be coincidence!)

Here in Ireland I was tested for B12 deficiency and was deficient. Doctor gave me injection and tested me again 3 months later and all ok. Said as we age (I’m 74) body may not be absorbing B12 so no point in taking supplements as will not help. Now being checked for this when I have Apixaban checks for kidney function etc.

so I would suggest ask doctor for test.

Good advice. I always thought B12 was not absorbed well by mouth so my new found improvement must be due to the mind's exceptional influence on health ( and illness)

I have just been given a full board of blood tests but they didn't do the B12 test so when I finally got my results on Wednesday (long story ad 3 cancelled appointments since beginning of October for results!) all results OK. Now getting a B12 test on Monday - wondering will i manage to get the results by New Year. :)
