It has very recently been brought to our attention that there has been a spate of posts removed without warning or that many members have been unable to access their account.

Admin have been attending our Patients Day and HRC this week and apologise that we have been unable to closely monitor the Forum or immediately address Reports received during this time.

May I confirm that if you are experiencing difficulty accessing the Forum, not receiving updates, the AF-A Admin are unable to help with such enquiries, and would ask you to refer to the Support or Help Centre via the Health Unlocked App.

If you feel you have had a post unjustly removed, that is not breaching the Forum Rules and Guidelines, then please contact our Team via the Chat facility.

"If you feel you have had a post unjustly removed, that is not breaching the Forum Rules and Guidelines, then please contact our Team via the Chat facility."

Instead of via a "Chat facility" then why not be open and transparent?

Part of the problem when a post is withdrawn is down to the lack of communication, this being proven by the fact that the same things keep happening even though forum rules are being adhered to. No explanation is ever given and for that matter we never see a complainant being overruled. The confusion being even more confusing whereby tried & tested drugs/medications can be criticised and others that are not - must not be mentioned!

Hi Tracy. Thanks for your response.

Do you know why Naturalforever's entire post and all the answers was taken down? We've been talking via the Chat facility but that means that anyone interested or supporting his view cannot see why I think he is so wrong.

All the best

Roy

I think the answer is here Roy

Maybe it’s best left at that and we all get back to helping each other. As always just an opinion.

Well Buz for me that thread raises more questions than answers, but I'd like to see the ability to delete posts removed so the forum would be more like Strava where whatever you post stays there forever although you can delete it from your comments box. You can't edit a comment post on Strava, only report it, but I'd still like the ability to edit a post kept here due to my Aphasia. My guess is a lot of stroke victims are sufferers as well. strava.com/activities/97838... Top right for comments.

All the best.

That's a really valid point Roy, about aphasia. Well said.I had a stroke 2018 and although I'm fortunately physically OK, my short term memory has been affected.

I'm not looking for an argument but I'm not sure what the "Thank you Tracy" comments are as the "chat facility" has always been there. Many posters have used the "chat facility" to try and get an answer as to why a post has been taken down, only to receive no response - what exactly am I missing?
