Thanks for all your support & update from yesterday

Just an update as everyone has been so kind in replying with support, I’ve seen the GP had some bloods taken and saw the cardiologist again this evening. Following an ECG & heart scan all seems to be well. No fluid in the pericardial spaces has happened with the last two ablations. My heart is remaining in normal sinus rhythm following the ablation three weeks ago. The heart is pumping nice & strong (Tyson Fury is in there). Currently it’s thought that due to the issues of asthma and the throat swelling I had post op maybe this has hindered my recovery further. The pain is hopefully just the inflammation in the heart and I just need more time to recover. So a relief to know nothing went wrong this time and my follow up will be 2 months from now. Let’s hope 2023 opens every door for everyone and lets the sunshine back in. Have a lovely festive period everyone of you, onwards and upwards be 💪 x

Good News.I hope you continue to improve. Someone told me at Midnight new year to open the door ,throw out all the bad and let in the good.

I always do it if awake.

Love that, I don’t path anymore at NY but I’m always up. When I was little my gran sad someone with dark hair( me) for luck, had to take the old year out the back door at 23:59, I took a sixpence or similar out with me, go to the coal bunker for a piece of coal, take it to the front door and at midnight there were the church bell’s & fireworks - so I knock the front door and take in myself dark haired for luck, the the sixpence brought wealth, coal brought warmth, the food meant we would not go hungry & finally a sip of champagne (probably a Babycham or Astispumanti) with a hug and a kiss from loved ones. Luck, wealth & prosperity, warmth, food, drink, love - what more would you need 🤷‍♀️ (I’ll think of you kkatz - do it together 🤗

hoping at the bottom of the sea lol. You know the thing about throwing bad stuff out the door on New Year’s eve? I did that when we were in the Bahamas out on the balcony at the waters edge. I had suggested that to him doing something like that. I pretended to throw the bad into the sea. We were getting ready to leave he is a pilot FYI and was in full uniform. Suddenly the glassy water threw a giant wave up and over the balcony😹😹😹😹😹 omg it went up and over us we were both dripping wet and I was in hysterics laughing he was not and stomped off.

I just read the post about how to have a happy new year and thought of that. I hope it gives you a giggle. I laugh at everything if I don’t you know it’s got to be bad

so good to see your news so far. I have had pericarditis after every procedure evidently it’s just a weak spot for me. They put me on a medication I forget the name of it it’s actually used for gout believe it or not. It works every time. When you think about what they do while they are in there it’s really a bit of a miracle how it doesn’t hurt as bad as you think it should. You didn’t mention if you are on some thing to hold your heart rhythm. It sounds as though Santa has already delivered congratulations sending you healing thoughts and wishes for a very wonderful new year. I go into the hospital Tuesday morning for a cardioversion at Cetera hoping to be able to dance the Christmas dance with you by Tuesday afternoon😊

thank you yes I am so so pleased it’s over. I have been on Losartan and Bisoprolol for many many years. Following 1st cardioversion in April I was put on Flecainide to control rhythm. I reacted to it with side effects of feeling dizzy and some vision issues, but they have disappeared now. The Flecainide together with previous work from 2 ablations turned my AFib into AFlutter which is what this ablation was for. I’m still taking it as EP thinks I’ll go into AFib if it is stop having now controlled it. I’m actually happy to stay on it if it means not more arrhythmias (I’ve had enough now.

Good luck for Tuesday - let us know how you get on - fingers and toes crossed for you x
