Hi, I will call the doctors tomorrow to find out but I am curious. I logged in to my NHS app and noticed on 9th June I had a test result update saying my Chadvasc is now score of 1. Previously 0. I havnt had any tests regarding the heart for a year and I am a 37 year old male with no other changes. Most recent blood pressure recording is 120/80. I’m just wondering what could have causes the change in score and what it potentially means for me. I have PAF albeit zero episodes in the last 7 months.
also, I am on flecanide and havnt had a blood test in over a year. Should I be raising this with the doctor?

Not familiar with the NHS system, but my medical records in the US have lots of incorrect information. Best to discuss with your doctor and see what's going on. That said, they have updated CHADS to include a few more things, so could be that.
... what Jim says...I also looked at my NHS app a few months ago and an unnamed comment said "Pt at 1 on chads, but not on AC needs review".
Then began about 2 months of the surgery explaining what chads was, explaining what anti coags were for, and explaining why high blood pressure was an issue (my BP is ok). My original question was "why do you think I'm at 1" ,my response to each of their other responses was also "please just tell me why you think I'm at 1". Finally a Dr emailed me to agree it was a mistake!
Now, of course, they may have reviewed your records and decided you do need an extra point in which case ten out of ten to them, though shame on them for not telling you on June 10th.
I would ask about it perhaps next time you see your GP? Administrative errors can be made in medical records, so I would check that this isn’t a mistake first. I’ve had mistakes in the records that are attached to my surgery app.
hi all, I spoke to the docktors this morning who investigated and have since come back to me and confirmed that it is a coding issue. Makes me feel better about the whole thing. They have also arranged for daily bloods and ECG’s which wernt planned before which is a great peace of mind for me
A normal blood pressure in the States is regarded as less than 120/80. 120/80 to 139/89 is regarded as pre-hypertension. So I guess you may have picked up a point for that.
