I would call and let your AF nurse or your EP's secretary know about this. I needed a cardioversion (electric shock to the heart) after an ablation. They will probably call you back to the hospital and do an ECG to see what's going on.
Give them a call but its pretty normal to have episodes during first three months at least whether you are on medication or not doesn’t mean that ablation has failed - i had one 8 weeks ago and have had 3 episodes that resolved in 24 hours ..
The same thing happened to me after my first cryoablation. I called my EP who told me to meet him at the arrythmia department of the hospital where they gave me an immediate cardioversion which set my heart back on track to NSR. Can you call your EP to do the same?
I went into tachycardia at 130 bpm around 6 weeks after ablation. EP was going to put me on amiodorone to give the ablation best chance as I can’t have any more ablations. I stayed in Tachychardia for 3 days ( constantly) and then before amiodorone could be started I went back into NSR and apart from plenty of pesky ectopics, I have been fine since. So, don’t despair. My ablation was last August so now have hope 10 and a half months under my belt. X
