Face looking flushed with Edoxaban

Hello

Has anyone got redness down the sides of their nose taking Edoxaban or similar anticoagulants? This seems to be getting worse since I started the tablets in February.

Especially interested in any ladies getting this problem, plus are you having any hot flushes and night sweats too. (Nothing to do with the recent hot weather either; it's been getting worse since starting Edoxaban).

Thanks

Lily

That's weird. My face is often flushed. I thought it was heat and menopause, perhaps not. Interesting 🤔

That's really interesting. I've also developed more joint pain, especially in my knees and I'm having difficulty walking, I'm feeling really depressed about it all.

I've seen the doctor twice but they say it's just osteoarthritis but it's only started and gradually getting worse since February when I started taking Edoxaban. I did think asking for the GP to change to Apixaban but wonder if they cause joint pain too.

Sorry, no personal experience, but a drugs.com search returned some interesting results ... drugs.com/sfx/edoxaban-side...

Hi yes I have redness down both sides of my nose and under it , I was beginning to think I was getting rosacea , I also get night sweats . Interesting as I never gave it a thought it could have been medication.

Thanks for responding.I am wondering what to do about it as I think maybe all the other brands of anticoagulants will have the same problems.

The GP says it is not on the list of side effects, nor is joint pain in my knees.

Well what do they know 🤔.

I'm finding it all such a worry.
