so I went today for the cyroablation, went through the whole procedure only to be told when I came round that they couldn’t complete it something to do with possible equipment failure or something wrong with the anatomy of my blood vessels, they have ordered an mri, the patient that was due in after me was sent home so maybe it is the equipment and mri only a precaution?

Sorry. That must be disappointing.

I would ask them why the MRI, but they may have ordered the MRI to see how complete the lesion set was, which might determine whether they should redo the cryo, or just leave it as is. Hopefully, they got most of what they needed before the equipment failed. Let us know what they say after the MRI.

hi Jim, says on discharge letter, unable to get electrical signal from catheter!

Sounds like something broke down. Hopefully, they ablated what they wanted to before it did. That's probably why the MRI. Definitely let us know what happens.

what a nightmare to go thru all that and have frustrating outcome ... fingers crossed that they managed to get something done... sounds like Sod’s law. 🙁
