methotrexate and rivaroxaban

I was wondering if anyone else out there has experience of using these two drugs and if they had any complications with the combination.

No interactions via drug checker but always wise to check with both of your prescribing doctors. Does mention that caffeine can reduce the effectiveness of methotrexate.

I took methotrexate for years. By tablet it made me sick and had such a bad stomach with it. Changed to methotrexate injections but in the end I was fed up with taking such a toxic drug.

I now take Benepali by injection.

Methotrexate did work though!

Thanks for your reply. I have taken methotrexate for years with no problem but since adding in Rivaroxaban I feel it’s too strong a combination for my system to cope with long term. Do you take Benepali in combination with another arthritis drug if you stopped Methotrexate

Benepali is the replacement for methotrexate for me. I take Apixiban with it.
