Hi,I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis, and I think I will be having zoledronic acid infusion, has anyone found it builds them up a little, I am only 8st ,I have no testosterone because I have locally advanced prostate cancer, I finished ht and rt in 2016,my psa is undetectable, I know that's good, but it's not good with no testosterone.

I presume you have a specialist who is probably the best person to ask, but I would also suggest you ring the Royal Osteoporosis Society’s advice line and speak to one of their nurses. I’ve found them very good when I’ve rang them. I appreciate that it’s really important to protect your muscle mass as it’s much more difficult to build new muscle in older age, but I suspect increased protein consumption and resistance exercise is probably quite important in your situation.
