I have just spoken to a senior consultant. Apparently, the possibility of stenting (mentioned yesterday by a registrar) is a long shot: it’s almost certainly a bypass, a “big operation” in the consultants words. I have a CTO -a total blockage which requires it’s “drilled out”. I have an angiogram tomorrow at a hospital miles away, where it will be difficult to receive visitors. They also want me to switch to bisoprolol which might result in much worse AF. Just to add to the fun, the house next to mine has a leaking roof and I don’t know if it has leaked into mine.

Bad news…
Thats what you have insurance for only worry about what matters. YOU!
So its all coming at once for you, sadly usually the way. Concentrate on your health for now then you can better deal with house issues if it proves to have impacted on your home. Easy to say, hard to do. Thinking of you. Things will improve dig in and follow what needs doing for now. Best wishes.
Oh boy you are going through the ringer - woe upon woe - so sorry for your troubles and Bob is right - what matters is you right now - get your plumbing sorted before you worry about the house.😘
I hope by now that your worries about your home have been resolved , allowing you to concentrate solely on your own health.
It will be an intense few weeks but you will marvel at just what can be done. Where are you located?
Sending all good wishes to you again. We will all be waiting for your updates

Good luck with everything. I know it’s scary but it’s been picked up in time. I hope it all goes well. Wishing you well.
I sounds as though you have a good team looking after you ! Wishing you well!
Oh dear. I can only wish you the best of luck and best wishes x
Bad news always happens in clusters, but so does good news. Keep your chin up and bulldoze through it all, and soon you'll be in a good spot again. I'm wishing you the best!
Sorry to read this. Sending virtual hugs!
Aw I feel for you, it all seems to be coming at once. Just look after yourself.
As Roseann Rosannadanna of Saturday Night Live used to say, "it's always something," and I am so sorry. Like the other replies, the house is important, but not as important as your health. I hope very much that the roof situation can be resolved - even if it just means paying someone to put a tarp over it for now - so that you can concentrate on getting well. Hugs and good thoughts being sent your way!
