Chiropractor after ablation

Hello all, do hope you’re feeling well this morning.

I had a cryoablation 12 days ago. All went well and recovery has so far been straightforward.

I could do to see my chiropractor (I have neck and back issues). I can’t think of any reason why I shouldn’t go, but would like reassurance I guess.

Does anyone have experience or knowledge that might be helpful to me?

Many thanks in advance,

Lyn x

Cant think why not but check with your arrhythmia nurse would be my suggestion.

I will probably end up doing that Bob - was just hoping to avoid adding to their work load.

I think I left it for about 2 months though before I went

I worked as a receptionist at an osteopaths and found it's best to ask the practitioner before you make the appointment. It depends on the procedure you have had and their opinion. Hope all goes well.

I would check with your chiropractor also.

Thank you, I agree. He is aware of my procedure and I will certainly discuss before treatment.

hi, I have neck and back problems which in the past I have always had osteopaths sort out. However, osteopaths now say that because I'm on blood thinners they cannot do the shifts/jerks they previously did for risk of causing an internal bleed. Best they could do is light massage which didn't fix anything. Its a bugger cos they were most effective treatment for neck and back and nothing else works. So, if you are on blood thinners ( I would expect you are) take care.

I’m on Apixaban and have a good firm body massage and acupuncture (2 wks apart) with no problem.

What's a "firm body" massage? I should be so lucky! ( joke )

a massage with quite a bit of firm pressure similar to a sports massage. ( not a relaxing one.)

I think you missed my joke, which was you describing yourself as having a "firm body". In fact, it was a "good firm body" !!!!!

But you will have to be the judge of that !!!!!

No offence meant.
