Hi all.I had a rapid heart rate during the night that lasted hours. My Kardia printout says Atrial fibbrillation with rapid ventricular rate.Scared me .I had a flutter ablation in May but this felt different.I thought they were going to do an a fib ablation. My question is .Is this how atrial fibbrillation is al2ayd described.I have never had a detailed report like this before.
Kardia reading.: Hi all.I had a rapid... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Kardia reading.
It means your AF was over 100bpm. That is the official term for ‘fast AF’. Kardia changes its terminology every so often - mine used to say ‘possible AF’, now it just flatly says ‘Atrial Fibrillation’. A&E described it as AF with RVR (the R is ‘rapid’).
Yes, that's what Kardia will report if there's AF present and a heart rate above 100, I believe. It's nothing special to be concerned about but I would be phoning my GP if it is an unusual thing for you.
Steve
I have had many episodes of afib with RVB (rapid ventricular beats) and all have gotten me admitted to the hospital for a cardioversion, as IV meds have not worked for me and I am now allergic to amiodarone. I would suggest you see or call your doctor or cardiologist ASAP.
hi i have tried but not sure how to.
will do thankyou.
evening everone would anyone on here tell me how to post a pic on here .Thankyou.
trust it. I bought mine when i was in afib.... to prove it works. And it did report correctly.
