Morning Crazy Heart Club members!

Just thought I'd pass on some info I came across,

Eating sunflower hearts are a great way to reduce C.reactive protein( inflammation)

Celery has many health benefits in terms of vitamins and minerals, low cal too. However, the trend for' super food juices' shouldn't include celery juice,as the process results in a strarch being produced which can adversely affect people on some medications . This includes anti coagulation ( I prefer the term anti clotting!) And some blood pressure medications.

hope you are all ticking nicely xx

Thanks - I had to google what the difference was between sunflower hearts and sunflower seeds. I have sunflower seeds most days with some yogurt and nuts :)

Thanks for that info, I'm glad to say that I have a level dessert-spoonful with my morning muesli alongside pumpkin seeds.

I put them in my home made granola ( modified Nigella recipe) . I adore pumpkin seeds but they are very calorific.

Any side effects eating the sunflower hearts? My system is so sensitive I seem to have to watch everything I put in my mouth anymore. 😒

Lol. I've just had 12.5 kg of sunflower hearts delivered for the birds. I had better raid their supply.☺️
