Tight chest ECG

Recorded this ecg when I suddenly got a tight chest and breathlessness.

Note that it shows LAD and no P or T waves. I've never seen this before.

It normalised towards the end when I felt better.

Could this be Junctional Rythm as my heart rate was 43 just prior to it starting and went up to 60 bpm.

Not a doctor but I see "p" waves and so apparently does Kardia as it says "Normal Sinus Rhythm". I would report those symptoms to your doctor right away unless this is something they are aware of.

I don't see any P waves. Perhaps they are within the R wave.

Hopefully the Kardia is programmed to see that the pulse arises from the sinus node and records it as a Sinus Rythm. This will mean that it is not a Junctional Rythm as I think it may be.

My telephonic appointment with the EP did not materialise today so I thought I would post my concern here.

I only saw the "p" waving missing on the first interval which is incomplete. Maybe you can post more of the strip and someone more expert will come along. Have you emailed the strip to your ep? They are the real experts in this.

I get something a little like this from the Kardia occasionally and have wondered whether the smaller P and T waves might be being mostly hidden by the smoothing that the Kardia software applies to the original rather noisy scan that the device produces?

I wonder what your cardiologist or GP would say?

There don't seem to be any P waves as others have noted. You could send it off to Kardia for analysis? Or to your local arrhythmia nurses; I've sent "suspicious" readings to them and they always respond on the same day, consulting a registrar if necessary.

Kardia only analyses the first 30 seconds of any recording, but can record up to 5minutes.

Was the ECG in the first photo during the first 30 seconds?

Both ECG's are from the same 30 sec strip.

No. I sent the ecg to Alivecor for evaluation. My T wave has always been negative for as long as I can remember but recently became flat to slightly positive.

I have one from 2 years ago but it is shows a negative T wave and a good positive P wave.The Kardia one's I took a month back show small P and T waves.

All of them show LAD. Only lead 1 and AVL show positive R waves
