Coming off medication

Hi all, well it’s 1 AM just woke up , heart thumping , headache, long gaps in between beats on Apple Watch , I feel really strange. It feels like it’s missing a beat but not sure, the Watch says 76 bpm and sinus rhythm. I’m guessing it’s something to do with halving the bisoprolol and flecainide. Any tips would be appreciated, do I go back to normal with the medication or persevere.

Would it be better to halve one at a time so you know which is causing it? Or wean yourself down slowly?

I think I’m going to have too, can it be done that way. I’ve now got terrible pains in my upper stomach, above the belly and below the ribs, not sure if this could be linked. I have read that heart attacks can be felt in the stomach so hopefully not that.

I am considering coming off Flecainide and discussed with Arrythmia nurse. Dropping from 100 morning and evening to 50 am and 100 pm then 50 each then 25 am and 50 pm and see what happens. Might take a few weeks but I’m in no hurry.

Hi, I suggested I take 100 morning and 50 evening but she said it don’t work like that so I was a bit confused.

300 before me to see Consultant so have decided to go my own way for the moment
