Only your doctor can answer your question but you might get some people with experience of your situation on the BHF forum (British Heart Foundation) ❤️‍🩹

Very unlikely. Aspirin is an anti platelet which stops cells clumping together and forming clots. It is important to take this drug or a similar antiplatelet if you have a stent or any artifical valves to prevent clots from forming on and around the alien substances in your body..

I've had stents placed 3 times for a total of eight. I'll be on aspirin forever along with xarelto. I developed afib at some point with a pacemaker placed. It would be a discussion to have with your cardiologist. You probably don't want to discontinue heart meds by yourself. Making lifestyle and dietary changes can be good for anyone. Three weeks isn't very long on the meds. My doctor follows up with labwork and EKG's. I had to learn to slow my roll and take care of myself and meds are a part. With cardiac rehab, diet and meds your recovery can be complete. You could discuss it later. Wishing you a complete recovery.
