had first check up 5 weeks after av ablation, Dr happy with way things looked reset pacemaker down 10 to 80 and turned on rate censor ,said he would reduce it 10 every month until down to 60. he said he didn't know why I was still breathless but said when it get set at 60 I,ll notice a big improvement. I go in 2 weeks for echo and see my cardiologist hopefully find out more then fingers crossed

I'll be interested to hear how your breathlessness gets on. I had my AV node ablation in August. Set at 70, 6 weeks later down to 60 and still breathless.

Hi Barb will definitely keep you updated, when I go to cardiologist on 12th I'm hoping he has more answers. I am still on bisoprolol 2.5mg and wonder if it is causing the breathless feeling, on a higher amount I play out very fast hoping it's removed plus a couple of other meds but will see, Thanks for reply Les

Hi Barb I'm sorry I should have got back to you sooner, when I went to cardiologist he wasn't happy put me on another pill and said he would see me in 3 months. The echo showed my EF at 22,Approx 3 months after ablation I started getting more energy and less breathless. I am done with EP he seems impressed pacemaker set at 130=60. My QOL has improved greatly. I am hoping my cardiologist books me in for appointment and echo, and maybe get get rid of some meds but time will tell. I hope your QOL has also improved Les
