Getting back into sinus rhythm

Woke up in a f on boxing day .The next day I suddenly felt dizzy which normally happens just before I go back into nsr only this time I fainted which has never happened before, I was only out for 3 or 4 seconds. Anyone else had this experience?

Yes, and you should definitely report that to somebody as it sounds as if your heart is pausing when you revert and maybe this time it paused too long. Only going on my experience and what my cardiologist and EP told me.

It may have been a TIA so you definitely need to get it checked out. You also need to stop driving I'm afraid until you get the OK from doctors and the DVLA.

Yes this happened to me and I had to have a pacemaker fitted.

Yes I was not allowed to drive and then had to wait a month after having the pacemaker fitted before I could drive again.

Yes. It's called a reversion pause. I've only fainted once with it and as you get a warning at least you can be lying down! Go onto the York Cardiologist YouTube channel and watch the video on syncope. He explains its different from a black-out. But yes, you should tell your GP and Cardiologist.
