Can't find anything using search tool.......

I seemed to think you could have cranberry sauce while on Edoxaban, and it was only grapefruit that was a "no no"......but not 100% sure?

Husband has bought his mother some Jaffa cakes with cranberry for Christmas...she is also on Edoxaban.

Advice please....

and a Happy Christmas to all who know me on here xx

Hiya Wightbaby,

I think that is true of Warfarin - deffo ...... and I remember you've been on here for a long time and at one time you were on Warfarin. Unsure with this new stuff. Mind you I hate Cranberries anyway so that isn't an issue. Love grapefruit and ignore the advice, just put it down the neck regardless. Not regularly I must admit. No side effects.

Happy Christmas to you to, stay safe.

Hi WB! According to the official NHS website there are no foods or drinks to avoid whilst taking Edoxaban. It’s in the section Further Questions. Happy Christmas to you too!

Its one day of the year! Enjoy! It would be different if a person was eating it for weeks at a time. I'm on warfarin and have no intention of NOT enjoying the full Christmas experience.

Avoid Cranberries with Warfarin and Grapefruit with Apixaban, not sure about the other DOAC’s but as BobD says, IT’S CHRISTMAS!!!

Out of devilment on Tuesday I made myself a bacon, brie and cranberry toasty for breakfast. Yum does not cover it.

I’m surprised you found nothing online as I looked only recently. It seems there are no known interactions with the newer anticoagulants such as apixaban.
