Ablation fact sheet

I have just been reading through all the paperwork I have received from Spire Bristol for my ablation on Wednesday, and note that they have included a copy of the AF Association Recovering from Atrial Fibrillation - Patient information fact sheet.

Good one, saves me looking it up again!

Hi Cally53, I had my ablations there too, Mine was with Dr Ashley Nisbet who has been superb. Finished with a Pacemaker with AV node ablation which has been good.

Best of luck

Dave

My consultant is Dr Nisbet too, she is lovely and did my first ablation. This time, I took a cancelation and was meant to have a different consultant. Unfortunately, I have had a positive lateral flow test, am waiting for the result of a PCR. Ablation is now on hold! 😒

Never mind it will come around to it when you are ready.I am seeing Dr Nisbet Thursday evening for a consultation, just general items this time. As I live in Weston Super Mare, well Kewstoke really, I decided to have further checks at Weston General, will ask on Thursday to go back to Dr Nisbet as you do achieve the best service available

Best of Luck Cally

I'm in Swindon. I hope your consultation goes well. Thankfully my pcr test has come back negative, am waiting to hear from Spire as to whether they will let me go ahead.

Hi Cally53, I had my ablation yesterday at the Spire in Nottingham. So pleased it is over. Got myself so nervous, my blood pressure shot up. They gave me a pack this morning when I left. Will be thinking of you tomorrow xx

Thought Bob would be impressed

It must definitely be a Spire policy then - good news. Thank you for your thoughts, I have to be there for midday.
