2.5 years since my 3rd ablation

It has been awhile since I have last posted after my cardiac tamponade during my 2nd ablation and thought I would give an update and share the good news.

My 3rd ablation went well and it has been over 2 years since I had it done. I have had no afib episodes since then. In fact I just had a heart monitor on for 2 weeks and the results showed no significant events. My EP is quite pleased and states I have an 80-90% chance of it never coming back but who knows. I exercise 4-5 times a week and feel fantastic.

I have added an attachment of a 3D generated photo of my ablation. The round circles are the burn areas which I am sure you are all aware of.

Best wishes to all for a Happy Holiday Season.

Take Care

Larry

That sounds brilliant. Do you get any ectopics or have they been resolved as well please

Everyone gets an ectopic. I can feel when I get one but not a lot.

Thanks Perkman. I’m on a maintenance dose of flec with bisoprolol and so far afib is kept at bay. However, I do get ectopics most days (smaller number compared to before medication) and I hate them. I have had them for many years but they unfortunately get to me now. I was just looking at whether there’s anything out there that would resolve them but I don’t think there is
