Jesus, it looks like the kids have messed with your Kardia device, lol! How did you feel when it happened?! I mean the symptoms...

No symptoms apart from feeling really tired and aware of AF

As far as I can tell as I often get very similar - looks like multiple ectopics or PVCs, very common going into or out of AF. They usually settle after 24 hours or so. If you get them without AF the Kardia algorithm will identify for you.

Obviously only going from my own experience and not trained to read an ECG compently so if you are concerned please send to your doctor for an analysis.

Multiple ectopics like that can make me pretty unwell but thet usually settle - LSD breathing - Long, slow and deep breathing can help.

Hope they settle very soon.

Example of one of my recent ones after coming out of AF.

My Pacemaker usually clicks in pretty quickly so I rarely get multiple ectopics.

Thanks for your advice I hope that's all it is as the day before I had a 6 hour bout of tachycardia 103 bpm very disconcerting

Most likely poor contact or what they call "artifact"(interference) unless you really did feel ill at the time.

I don't think it was that Bob I would have recognized it i had woken up feeling fine but before lunch I felt the familiar AF kick in and the kardia gave me a few of these odd traces I hadn't had before

This looks like 'baseline wander, or drift' where the reading wanders from the point which marks the baseline used to measure your readings. It happens for several reasons including your having moved unduly during the recording, perspiration, poor contact between your fingers and the pads, etc., and it is quite a common phenomenon particularly with self made readings.

Funnily enough reading other people's problems makes me less concerned with my own.

I thought you were free of afib now after your last ablation so what are your problems?

Seeing as I am mentioning problems, I had a very slight pain in the tip of my ring finger when pressed last week. It lasted a day. Then yesterday and the day before, I had a nose twitch. It was quite frequent and felt as if the tip of my nose was being squeezed. I looked it up and decided it was a tic. Read something about potassium so took a tablet.

Asked for my blood test results and they said "Your Blood results were marked as 'Tell patient normal but see GP if problem ongoing'. I will have to get on to them again as I want the lot, especially my VitD levels now. Last time my potassium level was very normal but that was a couple of years ago. Sorry for this trivia!

If I told you I would have to kill you. Not all problems are AF.

Not what you're looking for?
