When flecainide is given as a bonus intravenously. Is it always with dextrose?

Does anyone know if flecainide is given with anything else.I was given it with dextrose 2 days ago. I looked it up, it is made from corn starch. I am highly allergic. I became ill immediately and now can’t get out of bed. The doctor ( who knew about my allergies) said it could only be given with dextrose. Is this true?

Next time just tell them you have issues with flecainide mixed with dextrose . They'll give you something else. Phil

Hi there, they can also use sodium chloride with Flecanide. I know they definitely used to.
