Slight cold and ablation

Good morning everyone, quick question, I’ve got my ablation tomorrow and my nose is a bit stuffed up , I don’t feel unwell , have not got a cough , slight headache but I know this is where my nose is blocked , is it safe to go ahead with the ablation. Just need reassurance that it is safe just in case it’s a mild cold .

Years ago I was told unless coloured discharge all OK BUT with Covid they may not be so keen so best speak with them on arrival. Presume you have done covid test?

Hi electric blueThis may sound weird but before all of my many ops I always do a nasal washout or lavage to clear the sinuses . Half a flat teaspoon of salt in half a teacup of boiled water. Let it cool and then using a small plastic syringe squirt it up one nostril slowly and then blow your nose Do it twice each side

Great for clearing sinuses. Feels odd but effective.
