Can anyone give me any advice as to where to go for holiday insurance with a UK company? Not sure where to start and want to find reliable company. Thank you.

Some useful information on the AF Association webpages....

Also type in “Holiday Insurance” into the search box top right of this page and you will find lots of similar previous posts.....

Staysure or All Clear. Not the cheapest but good reputation.

Thank you, will take a look at both of those . Adequate cover is more important than price within reason 😏 Not sure i am feeling brave enough to go away yet but hopefully in the future.

There is a compare the market sister site that I used (for people with pre existing conditions.

Family of 4 cost me £35 for a week in Italy

Brokers may be British but underwriters ( small print!) often European based. We enquired of Staysure with the impending B word and we're assured not an issue as they have contracts.

Hi Nafi. I went with my Bank/Building society- cost just under £120-00p extra for a full years cover. They do ask you to answer all of their health questions. Feel that the cover they offered was excellent. After becoming insured with them went for a couple of extra tests that my Dr. scheduled for me- rang the insurance company to inform them. The company assured me that it had not altered the contract we had, and I still had full coverage, with no extra cost. As the insured you are best telling the insurance company of any changes/checks you experience- otherwise you may not be insured to the level you thought. Advice- shop around, listen carefully- ask before committing. Ed 1532
