Pain in jaw while in A fib
I have no experience if this but pretty sure this has been discussed on here before so am sure someone will be along with some answers from their own experience.
Sometimes although usually just before. It's supposedly a warning sign fir heart attack especially in women. Not saying this to scare you - I think it's to do with one of the nerves and that's why you feel pain there. I get pains sometimes in my left side just before an episode
Given that AF can be stressful, could it be that you are tensing the jaw without being aware of it?
I used to get this during an attack, really bad on occasions. Fingers crossed but after ablation number two at end of September last year no attacks so no more jaw ache, Long may it last.
Yes I’m in full a fib and get pains left arm and left side of jaw was really worried at first but after 4 years got a little use to them best wishes
Hi PP 🙂 I get an odd sensation in my throat/jaw on the right hand side when going into an episode of P-AF.I put it down to a change of blood flow through the carotid arteries.
Yes, I get aching on left side of my jaw when I am in AFib. Dr. didn't seem concerned. There was a suggestion of taking nitroglycerin but never did. Will ask cardiologist when I see him.
