Trying to reduce my Bisoprolol dose from 10 mgs to 7.5, very slowly, after speaking to my GP. But starting to have really bad acid reflux. Is this triggered by the alteration in dose? I have got a hiatal hernia but it is usually well controlled by Lanzaprozole: 30 mgs a day.

Bisoprolol and Acid Reflux
Interesting, I slowly changed from Bisoprolol to Diltiazem and for a week or so I had reflux which isn't something I suffer with, it's gone now so maybe it is the dose change that causes it.
Hi. I to take lansoprazole for my acid reflux and also bisoprolol for my AF but only 1.25mg per day. I am in permanent AF
I take 10mg Bisoprolol and 15 mg Lansoprazole with no known side effects
Can't really help as I have never tried to reduce. Would love to try to see if less fatigued. I have permanent a fib and the bisoprolol and digoxin is what keeps it under control. I sometimes suffer from reflux but tbh more related to diet. Xx
I was very sensitive to bisoprolol, it sent my heart crazy, they put me on Tildiem retard 240mg daily, until an ablation then reduced it to 120mg, recently had tachycardia and they used bisoprolol to bring it down along with the doc squeezing one of my carotid arteries. I'm told there are a lot of potential side effects with bisoprolol including hearing loss, not sure about reflux, but I had that previous to my heart probs.
