I take 100mg of Flecainide twice daily which is controlling my A-Fib so far but every couple of weeks I get a couple of hours of skipped beats. Just wondering if anyone else has skipped beats. I had my ablation 6 weeks ago for Atrial Flutter not sure whether I will do a second ablation for Atrial Fibrillation.
Thanks.

Ectopic beats like this are a common problem once you become aware of your heart as we here tend to and though benign can be annoying. Slow, deep diaphragmic breathing usually stops them.
How are you ? I felt I had to take a break from the forum as it was becoming harder to switch of from the afib and its curse....also had to get a new phone and had some issues with email addresses so had to change e mail addresses ....anyhow I'm still here and 2half weeks post ablation ....
Yes, deep breathing usually does the trick for me. Have been complaining about being breathless on hills for a long while. It occurred to me that I am so used to slowing my respirations for ectopics and anxiety that increasing resps on hills surprise surprise, really helps!!!
