Hi. I get a lot of ectopic. I had the vaccine on Monday and it hasn’t affected my ectopics. It never crossed my mind that it would. I had a very slight ache in my arm, nothing else. No worse than a flu jab. Just relieved to have had to my first one.

Thanks for your reply, just trying to make sure nothing can upset these wretched ectopics. Glad you had no adverse effects

I think worrying about it is probably the most likely reason to make the ectopics worse. They used to worry me but if you can forget about them they seem to matter less. I do admit mine are not “big thumps and bangs” like some people seem to get. Although I get a lot I rarely notice them unless I take my pulse, these days.

Okay...here is what most Doctors fail to understand.Your heart is not just governed by the electrical activity of its pacemaker...its also governed between two minerals....calcium to contract....magnesium to relax. When people get stressed anxious or recover from a viral illness...they use up most of the circulating magnesium. When you get uptight...you increase the circulating calcium.60 % of your bodies store of magnesium resides in your bones....and only 1% in your blood...which is why its hard to measure by blood test.

Calcium will hyper excite different muscle groups and parts of the heart muscle.Too much calcium circulating in the blood can be troublesome.

Quick fix take sodium bicarbonate and you will get almost instant relief because it reduces calcium levels quickly without harm.

Long fix...Get hold of some magnesium from the local chemist or better still..get hold of magnesium taurate or glycinate...from amazon/ebay.

The ectopics will settle down within days...i know i had ectopics for 35 yesrs before i found Dr Carolyn Dean...and the York Cardiologist on youtube.Stay safe...get well.

Thank you for your reply. I have spoken to Dr Sanjay Gupta last year and I know he talks a lot about magnesium. I was put off taking it as I did soak my feet in Epsom Salts which I know contains magnesium and the next day had restless legs and feet felt strange. I told my reflexologist & she said not to use it. I know it’s not the same as taking it orally but wasn’t sure if it was the magnesium that didn’t agree with me. Probably I’m being stupid.

No thats a sign that you are low...because when you start putting it back into the body, up to 300 enzymes laying dormant begin to switch on....you will feel strange while things switch back on....I made magnesium water....epsom salts with luke water .put it in a spray bottle...apply it to upper torso over the heart and arms...you will absorb it almost as quick as ingesting....put up with the weirdness it should pass after three or four days...Magnesium is the hearts best friend....Calcium is not....hope things improve.

You can also increase foods rich in magnesium like spinach, bananas....you will probably feel equally out of sorts as the right enzymes switch back up...sounds like gobbledegook...but there is so much out there to support what i say.

Hello, thank you for the helpful information. I have very high calcium due to the hyperthyroidism/Graves'. Do you have any further information on the sodium bicarbonate and the safety of its use while taking Metoprolol and Flecainide? Thank you.

in reply to

Please remember...sodium bicarbonate is a very quick fix...only to be usedIf you end up with a series of ectopics that disable you whenout and about or just trying to lay flat and go to sleep...Sodium can impair your kidney function and increase blood pressure so use sparingly. If you have kidney disease...this remedy is not for you...My first long term strategy is magnesium....taurate for heart related issues and threonate for brain...but you may find other types work better...The body develops tolerance quickly so switching things round alot can stop you getting stalemate with these.Lastly calcification...i.e. calcium that has laid down into soft tissue...needs both magnesium and K2 (mk7) again start  off with small doses ...then increase for full effect...keep it simple but stick to it...interestingly if you have tartar buildup on the back of you bottom teeth...its a sure sign calcium is laying down in soft tissue...with gum bleeding..The body sends calcium into repair..but if you increase vitamin C and magnesium...the tartar just dissolves away...

All minerals and vitamins are deemed safe with most medications...the rule of thumb in all cases is blood thinners....react with vitamins that have anticlotting capabilities...such as curcumin and fish oils..

Thank you.

That’s interesting as Doctor has recently put me on Calcium tablets as she said blood test said I was low but another GP said he thought it wasn’t that low, could this be the reason my ectopics are worse. So confused

I had the Pfizer vaccine about 16 days ago. I had no side effects at all. My arm was not even sore. but the jab itself hurt like crazy! I will get the second one in a few days. For many years now I have had several different irregular heartbeats along with AFib that Flecainide keeps in control quite well. I had no irregular heartbeats whatsoever after the vaccine.
