Agree with that!

I guess for many, 2020 will be remembered with many negative thoughts but when you think back, it also brought out the best in people too. So let’s use your reply to ask members to come up with some of the good and positive things that happened to them during a very difficult year. I have a few, but one thing which brought tears to my eyes was (Sir) Captain Tom.......

Let’s try and end the year on a high and share some better things that happened during 2020.

1 My husband came round to the idea of getting a cat so now we have Romeo 😽2 I got my first cataract op 18 months early and was told yesterday that if I got new glasses my sight would be even better than it is now 👁

3 I got my questions about my AF treatment sorted and though the cardiologist’s summing up was ‘rock and hard place’ it was helpful and I have the promise of a pacemaker if my QOL deteriorates too much🏃‍♀️

4 Our church got a new trainee vicar who is a real ‘people person’ and is shaking the snow globe ❄️

5 Must mention our lovely supportive family 💞

Happy New Year 🎉

1. My daughter recovered from Covid during her pregnancy and had a beautiful baby girl in October. And she has red hair! First of my grandchildren to get the family recessive gene, yay 😃

2. Husband and I haven’t killed each other ... in fact, being locked down has made us even closer ... “we’re in this together” sort of thing.

3. It was sad that my 94 year old mother died in February, but in a way her timing was perfect. Held the funeral just before first lockdown

4. Lockdown prevented us moving to a new house but made us appreciate our garden ... we’re staying put now.

5. Been spending hours in the kitchen recreating my mother’s recipes ... the beautiful aromas remind me of her.

6. Got our vitamin D levels up, hadn’t realised they were so low.

7. I’ve learnt to appreciate every minute of every day, my family, close friends and neighbours, and the lovely people on this forum

Oh, dear. I'm a bit slow on the uptake!

My year was quite good. My ablation (brilliant), eye op, dentist etc so lots of rides in my son's electric car. This website, Vitamin D, Sanjay Gupta and Dr John Campbell. Coming off bisoprolol. Not having to get dressed because no-one was going to call. Netflix - Bridgerton, The Queen's Gambit, the Crown. About ten series of Spooks on Drama. Lots of books to read. A new great granddaughter Fleur. My granddaughter Alice got engaged. My daughter's growth removed last month at Guy's was benign. My Apple watch. Amazon and Tesco deliveries. Sold quite a bit of stuff on ebay. None of my children, grandchildren or great grandchildren got Covid-19. The vaccines developed in months when everyone was saying it would take a year or more. Had my vaccine. We left the EU and got a trade deal.

Downsides, the MSM (main stream media), why do I watch it? Kay Burley. Everyone complaining about everything. Too much woke! The fuchsia seeds that I lovingly grew for months turned out to be Physalis, chinese lanterns. Very strong but met a sticky end. The pansy plug plants I'm growing are not strong at all. The eleven days of migraine after my ablation. Too many distractions, not getting enough done. Time going too fast!

I'm sorry, I felt that we had a bit too much of Sir Tom and probably quite a few other people.

Unfortunately I can’t take full credit, one of my friends sent it this morning and like Physalis it took a while to work out and I couldn’t resist passing it on.....all the best to you ‘n yours......

Yeah, now don’t you go hijacking it.😂😂😂😂😂😂😉

Moi.....nah😉
