Just think how you would feel if it started your AF again. Enjoy being well and please don't take the risk of having a heart rhythm disorder again.

I will certainly be having my fizz - for some reason it has no affect whereas red wine, spirits and beer all do. That’s my excuse for drinking exclusively to good fizzy wine and I’m sticking to it! Happy New Year.

You could always have fizzy tea - Kumboocha has great health benefits but can still be alcoholic.

Hello Swedish,I would but I’m working nights unfortunately.

Maybe opt for bubble & squeak instead? It may leave you a little lonely on New Year’s Day though if you do..... 🍑💨 👃🤢

All the very best wishes for 2021!

Alcohol has thankfully never been a trigger for me although I’m aware in general it’s not great for heart health. I’ll be having a few glasses of fizz to bid farewell to 2020 😂

Yes, I will have either wine or beer as it does not affect my monster. Hard alcohol will for me.Happy New Year to you.

I am fortunate, alcohol doesn't affect me so I will be having a couple of glasses of fizz. Happy New Year!

I will toast the New Year with a glass of wine , especially because I was in sinus for 2020.

I will nervously have a beer (which to date does not appear to affect my AF unlike Wine and Whisky) but probably not more than one.

I risked a very weak gin and tonic before Xmas lunch and a half glass of red wine with the lunch, by evening I knew I was in trouble. I put up with "it" for 3 days before phoning our pacemaker department. I was told to come straight up, they hooked me up to their clever box of tricks and found........ Nothing! No Afib or Flutter thank heavens so must have been whole strings of ectopics which I have only ever experienced as odd ones now and again. So relieved that Afib has not returned (successful ablation no 3 Aug 2018) so no I won't be poking the bear over Hogmany, I may even go to bed early. Happier and healthier New Year wishes to all.
