UPDATE 2 Pace or ablate

Having had doses bumped up of diltiazem and monitored this afternoon. Heart rate has finally shown signs of getting below 100.

This morning’s cardiologist came back tonight and he had also spoken to my regular EP to confirm the plan we had all agreed on. So I have 5 consultants/nurse now giving consistent message. He is happy for me to go home tomorrow after a further night of monitoring. HURRAH!

This cocktail of drugs is weird. Head feels hot and like it’s going to blow off and that I’ve drunk a bottle of wine. This is always 2 hours after taking tablets and last 1-2 hours. To be fair I have had worse side effects with drugs. They are swapping to a slow release so plasma levels are more steady which may reduce this abit

Fingers crossed that all is well over night.

Then on to seeing if I can manage normal life.

No pigs in blankets for me though 😔 Husband binned them today

Thanks. Think I’m a week behind everyone else. I’ve got Christmas to do first minus those pigs in blankets ☹️

Thanks. 80% certain it will be later today. Just got to have a bladder scan to check what’s going on there with the Furosemide
