Merry Xmas to the group

Pace and ablate completed 26 August

Procedure went well apart from a blip with first lead (dropping out)

Off all drugs apart from edoxapan

Advance two weeks I got covid

Legs started to swell up

The main reason I went post and ablate was to come of drugs and lose leg swellings

I was told I had a chest infection a couple weeks later

Then realised I’d put on 3 stone

Now on high dose durectic with fluid on one lung

Left ventricular impairment

So I’m in a war zone not a comfort zone

Was it co vid

Was it pace and ablate

I’ve lost over 10kilo in a very short time

Feel tired and peed off

Hi ho Ho

Sorry to hear you’re struggling with health issues - I hope things sort fast and that you’re soon back in the comfort zone.

Sorry to hear this . I got a chest infection last year and it was horrible. Could be all of these. I got a chest infection last year and it took ages to get over it. Breathing difficulties, afib playing hallelujah chorus, nausea, you name it.don't be afraid to ask for help. Hope things look up soon.

I had pace and ablate last year and like you off of everything apart from apixaban. In January this year I got flu and pneumonia ( had both vaccinations) and spent 5days in hospital. 4weeks ago I developed a cough which rapidly turned into chest infection. I started my 4th lot of antibiotics yesterday and had a chest xray today. Doctor thinks I may have some scarring on my lungs from pneumonia earlier in the year and that's why I'm finding it hard to shift.

Ho hum. On the plus side, the pace and ablate has been a success for me.

Have a great xmas , or at least the best one that you can manage.

Oh that's such bad luck! Don't despair once all these hurdles are overcome I'm sure you will find, as I have done, that it will improve your life for the better! Merry Christmas!
