It makes me smile when in American films they try to portray a person from the UK as being either an extremely well spoken fuddy duddy, or have a cockney accent.

I've always been a giggler - still am, but was told off a lot at school for it. I guess as in all parts of the world some people are smilers and some not.

The films we see from the US often show small towns and their Christmas tree lighting and everyone baking cookies. My sister lives just outside of Dallas and having visited her many times at Christmas I know that it's nothing like that.

Yes and do we need help. It seems everyday a depressing bit of news is thrown at us. The media really dramatise it. Still that’s their job.
