Thanks mate appreciate the fast reply.
Not much else to do.....one of the joys of being in tier 4.....😩
So basically I shouldn't be to worried then? must admit that t didn't realise it was going to be this tough heart sll over the place and breathlessness etc (I'm 51) and I did just suggest to the consultants secretary that they should prepare you more as I was expecting to waltz through this.....I was wrong.
That is why we produced th fact sheet!
Reactions to ablations vary enormously person by person. Some people sail through it without a problem and think they can get back to normal within a day or two but we often say, if your groin is bruised, just imagine what the inside of your ticker must look like!
You probably know that normal heart rate is between 60 and 100 bpm so you are well within range so yes, as long as it doesn’t escalate or drop suddenly, you have nothing to worry about.....take it easy over Christmas....
Cheers have a good break too.
I remember reading a raised HR post ablation was a good sign, sorry I cannot find the Article. mine was 10 ish higher for quite a while although I think the gap has reduced over the almost 3 years I have been AF free. Think positive - merry Xmas!
