Had my ablation last Monday not the worst experience of my life have to say I wasn’t given a general anaesthetic but sedated. not as you would know the difference. I had Atrial Flutter going clockwise 😂 and a pulse of 141. Now 71 and in Sinus not as breathless and Im told that will improve in 6/8 weeks I’m off the amiodarone and Digoxin still on Rivaroxaban and ibrasarten and will be for life. I even had a glass of bubbles with no ill effect. So I’m well chuffed hope it lasts. . Merry Christmas everybody

All's sounding good for you after your ablation, but please no tempting fate and AF by drinking alcohol just yet. Allow your heart muscles to gain strength beating in the correct rhythm they're in right now.

Well done. I do hope yours goes well. Let us know how you get on. One tip take a sports bottle drinking flat on your back is difficult even with a bent straw. I read it on here best tip I’ve had.

Glad to hear you’re doing ok. I’ve been on Rivaroxaban for 18 months now and absolutely no problems at all with it. Good luck
