Since the 02/06/2020 I have been in A Flutter my Gp has slung everything at it Bisoprasol my original meds from hospital gave me hives moved onto Nabivolol Fave swollen up moved to Tildium no success dose increased to 2x 120 last night Bronchospasam ( I’m Asthmatic) And feel awful So I’ve gone back to original dose of 2x 60 after all this my pulse is exactly the same as when we started. Any suggestions I do have a Cardiio appointment on the 29/09

Oh dear that sounds grim. Can you speak to your consultants secretary and tell them your problems,? They can be very helpful in getting messages through to consultants xx

No I haven’t been dealing with two GP’s but that’s my first job tomorrow. Thank you

Hi bob, tildiem (diltiazem) shouldn’t give you bronchospasm, it is usually beta blockers that do that. But if it’s not doing any good there’s no point in taking a big dose. Best wishes 💜

My consultant sent me straight for a cardioversion without trying any medication. This stopped the flutter immediately and it has not (Yet?) returned after 3 years.

June 2 to September 29 will be 4 months of persistent arrhythmia. AF begets AF; the more you have the more you will get. Your GP could not "has slung everything" because they are not licensed to prescribe anti-arrhythmic drugs. Be sure to request for an electrophysiologist. Wishing you the same success as Pablojack.

Cheers today I’m on the phone see if I can move things along. I doubt but worth a go. Yes it’s 4 months. And I didn’t know About GPs and anti arithmetic drugs
