AF end of event after 8 weeks

I’ve had af event since July 10 so suspected I had gone from paroxysmal to persistent af as often happens. After trying extra 100 mg flecanaide as pip no change.

Discussed with my cardiologist and the plan was to have 24 hour halter on September 28 then look at tweaking the meds.

This morning I had a sneezing episode and changed our king sized bed which is the most excercise I get. Checked my heart using Kardia 6 lead And surprise surprise it showed as normal for 3 recordings.

I can’t believe it! Just sent pdf off to cardiac nurse to add to my records.

I know you think you’ve recognised your triggers and you try all the suggested techniques to change it to NSR but it always manages to get you!!!

I can well believe what you're saying. One of our members here once said that when she was in the car with her husband, he drove over a bump in the road and it put her heart back in to normal sinus rhythm. I've also read that putting your fingers down your throat and making yourself gag can work too. So many weird and wonderful suggestions have been made over the years.

Hope you stay in your correct rhythm now.
